Chia Hock Lai has close to 2 decades of experience in the financial and technology industry and has worked in organisations like Government Technology Agency of Singapore (GovTech) and NTUC Income.

Besides being the founding president of the Singapore FinTech Association, he is also a Fellow of the Singapore University of Social Science, member of the Banking & Finance and Fund Industry panel of Nanyang Polytechnic and advisor to start-ups.

Hock Lai is passionate about how technology is disrupting the way financial services are being delivered to consumers and businesses, and in the process making the financial system more efficient and inclusive.

Jake Goh is the CEO and Co-Founder of Rate and Rate3 Network. Rate is a venture-backed fintech company that raised US$2.3M for its series A in October 2017, while Rate3 Network is a decentralised dual protocol for cross-border payment and credit scoring, having raised 25,000 Ether (US$15 Million) in a successful token sale this year 2018.  

As a thought leader in the blockchain space, Jake serves as an Advisor for Odyssey Foundation (oBike), DATx, and Jun Capital alongside Vitalik Buterin (Founder of Ethereum) He has also given keynote speeches and panel discussions in various global blockchain and entrepreneurship conferences.

Jake obtained his undergraduate degree in Economics, Technopreneurship and Computer Science from National University of Singapore and New York University

Paul has 20 years of IT management and consulting experience focusing in financial services sector, currently leading the FinTech practice and Asia Pacific Blockchain Lab in Deloitte.  Prior to Deloitte, Paul served as CEO of Fintech, CIO for bank, brokerage firm, and global conglomerate, as well as practice leader for EY, PwC, and IBM, specialized in emerging technologies and advanced analytics

is Professor of Economics in the School of Economics, Finance and Marketing at RMIT University, and Director of the Blockchain Innovation Hub, the first social science research institute on Blockchain in the world. Dr Potts is one of Australia’s top economists, specialising in cryptoeconomics, economic growth and early stage innovation, and economic institutions. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences of Australia, Vice-President of the International Joseph A. Schumpeter Society, and editor of the Journal of Institutional Economics. His latest book is Innovation Commons: The Origin of Economic Growth (Oxford University Press).
